These practices range from running a full psychodrama in a court utilizing all court staff for various roles, to working with what was termed the Complaining Witness.
Psychodrama helps elicit information in a dramatic three-dimensional detailed account that facilitates questioning during court trials. It transforms witness testimony from a one-dimensional linear representation of a series of events to a three-dimensional narrative easily conveyed, understood, and remembered by a jury. Psychodrama facilitates a courtroom atmosphere in which lawyers obtain jury trust by using their own human-ness in a courtroom. Group experience and the ability to understand the sociometry present amongst a group allows for a better outcome of the process in a courtroom; Psychodrama provides a route to understanding this sociometry and thus influencing the result of a trial.
Kaya brings a creative, engaging, and practical flair to Psychodrama performed in and out of a courtroom. She can concretize complex interactions into a profound representation that can then be used by a lawyer to expeditiously convey powerful information to a jury.
